The South African Screen Federation (SASFED) has elected a new board. According to the organisation, the board has worked tirelessly to get the industry back into shape and has already met several times since being elected at the AGM last month.

The 2009/10 SASFED board is:
Co-Chairs: Kgomotso Matsunyane and Feizel Mamdoo
Vice Chair: Eve Rantseli
Treasurer: Michael Lee
Co-Secretaries: Thandi Brewer and Khalid Shamis
Legal: Stacy Koma
Communications: Marc Schwinges
Additional Members: Rehad Desai and Dan Jawitz

According to a SASFED statement, the board is now national and much larger and more diverse than ever before. It represents some very strong industry players and respected filmmakers.

SASFED represents the interest of most film and television industry organisations as a collective federation.
