Johannesburg for the Topsy Foundation, depicts 90 days in the life of an HIV/AIDS patient, Selinah, revealing her dramatic recovery after administering antiretroviral (ARV) medication.

The advert received international acclaim this year after winning South Africa's first gold Cannes Lion in film in 12 years.

"This was shown at the Vienna AIDS conference in July and is just the most uplifting and positive piece of communication as it shows that with ARVs, the effects of AIDS can be reversed," says Louise Johnston, business director at Ogilvy Johannesburg.

As part of its corporate social responsibility and in line with the Lead South Africa initiative, Cinemark will be screening the advert to help the Topsy Foundation to both create awareness of the effectiveness of ARVs and help the NGO raise funds to continue its valuable work.
