The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is inviting filmmakers who will be participating at and are attending the 65th Cannes International Film Festival to apply for funding for markets and festivals attendance.

Arguably the world's best known film festival, it runs from 15 to 26 May in Cannes, in France. Markets and festivals attendance funding is available to filmmakers who have been invited to participate, seek funding partners, and whose films have been accepted at the festival.

Since it was first held, the Festival de Cannes has remained faithful to its founding purpose: to draw attention to and raise the profile of films, with the aim of contributing towards the development of cinema, boosting the film industry worldwide, and celebrating cinema at an international level.
