Wild Talk Africa has officially opened its virtual doors for delegate registration to this year’s festival and conference. Registration is an easy online process and only takes a few minutes.

From 5 March to 1 May Wild Talk Africa will be running an early bird special, with full registration to the festival costing only R2 200. Two months may seems like a long time, but this special won’t last forever so register now to get the full benefit.

The festival is also offering a reduced student rate of R900 and a day rate of the same price.

Wild Talk Africa is Africa’s film festival and conference for natural history and wildlife film and television programming. The four-day event including workshops, seminars and commissioning panels, and valuable networking events with intentional delegates and industry leaders. This year’s conference will be held in the coastal city of Durban from 23 26 July.

The Roscar Awards are a key festival attraction, where the best productions from around the world will be awarded Africa’s highest natural history film and television accolades, the Roscars, or “Rhino Oscars”. All delegates with a full pass are invited to the Roscars, an evening of great food, drink, entertainment and of course the illustrious award ceremony.

With rhino poaching on the rise, in 2013 the festival has committed to the theme Year of the Rhino: 10% of Roscar award sponsorship fees will be donated to the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa’s Rhino Initiative.

Delegates will also have access to a variety of exciting specials and excursions, from learning to surf on Durban’s golden mile to free-diving with sharks on the breathtaking KwaZulu-Natal south coast.

Don't miss out on the early bird special: register now.
