Five films supported by the Gauteng Film Commission (GFC) will be screened at the 35th Durban International Film Festival (DIFF), which will run from the 17thJuly until 27thJuly 2014.

Commenting on the five films supported by the GFC, Acting Chief Executive Ms.Namhla Siqaza said the Commission is very proud to have supported these films. "They are true South African films, reflecting the day to day African stories. We are strongly supportive of productions that support local talent and we also actively encourage filmmaking that displays originality and creativity.

"Gauteng is a home of big Ideas and Perfect Location for creative and production talent, and the quality of these films reflects this," she adds.

The following films will be screened at DIFF 2014 and their screening schedules and synopsis will be accessible on our GFC website.
