Accounting for Film Productions

In order to deal with the shortage of skills in some critical areas within the SA Film & TV, the GFC has partnered with Destiny Media and will host a workshop on Accounting for Film Productions.

The two day workshop will equip participants with specialist skills to work as Film & TV Production Accountants while at the same time increasing the pool of Black Production Accountants in the Gauteng Province.

Duration:         Two Days

Date:                11-12 August 2016

Times:              08:30am to 4:30pm on both dates

Venue:             NFVF Offices, 87 Central Street, Houghton

Cost:                Delegate fees for 10 participants will be sponsored by GFC

Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Matric Maths
  • High school Accounting (recommended)
  • Have worked on at least one production in an administrative or coordinating capacity
