The second annual FiFTi festival will take place at constitution hill on the 12th, 13th & 14th August 2016 during National Women’s Month.

This festival will not only focus on the business of film and television production, but also the many other careers and artistry that feed back into the creative industry.

The females in film and television Industry (Fifti) Festival is founded by two young filmmakers whose journey behind the scenes of the business of film and television led them to create a festival that celebrates women’s achievements, while also creating a platform for women in the creative industry to engage in business empowering events and opportunities.

This Initiative is supported by Constitution Hill, Film and Publication Board (FPB) and the Gauteng Film Commission (GFC), who agree that the project is an important initiative for the economic advancement of women in order to achieve gender equality in South Africa.
