Dave Keet, well known to the industry as Managing Director of the Video Lab in Blairgowrie, Randburg, has called it a day.  Keet has been at the Video Lab for many years and his relaxed

and professional manner have endeared him to hundreds of producers, directors, filmmakers and commercials companies.

Commenting on his decision in December last year, Keet said: "As we draw to the end of 2008 we are all faced with many challenges and changes in all walks of our lives.  I know this year has proved to be a challenge for many of us, and often the best way to manage these challenges is to opt for change.  This is what I have chosen to do, and so I have taken the decision to leave the Refinery Group and Video Lab with effect from the end of December 2008.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the many years I have spent with the Group, which I have seen grow from twelve people to what it is today.  I have met so many wonderful people through the years, many of whom have become life- long friends.  even though I currently have not decided what I will be doing next year, it is unlikely that I will disappear from the industry completely, and so I am sure many of us will meet again, albeit in a different role."
